I was fortunate to have been kindly gifted a holiday box from Holiday In A Box Co and I had to come on and tell you all about it. The concept is such a great idea! You receive a box to your house with gifts related to a particular destination in the world and can try the tastes, culture and history from the comfort of your own home. The box I received was for Istanbul and included Turkish delights, tea, a beauty sponge, recipe cards and a few more surprises. I don't want to ruin the surprise for you all!
If I'm honest I have really struggled to not be able to go away on holiday like I normally would because of the pandemic. Having the box delivered to my house meant that I was able to virtually escape to Istanbul. I had such a great time trying the Turkish recipes and recreating a spa day at home as though I was visiting a traditional Hamam bath.
Holiday In A Box Co are a small business based in Buckinghamshire and I would recommend trying their boxes. I think the boxes would also make such a nice present for family and friends at Christmas or for their birthdays (especially if they love travelling like me)! Or if you're like me and like to treat someone to a trip abroad then the box could be used as a great reveal for where you will be taking them.
